My name is Charel Schreuder — a professional photographer with over 14 years of experience across editorial, travel, commercial, and real estate photography in Cape Town and internationally. We meet at the Clock Tower, V&A Waterfront at 10:00. There is no fixed route and no prescribed shots — we go where you want to go, at your pace, and stop when something catches your eye.
What interests one person means nothing to another — and that is exactly the point. You decide what to photograph. I walk alongside you, explain what works and what does not, and how to approach the same scene differently. I shoot professionally throughout the walk, and within 48 hours you receive a WeTransfer link with my edited images from our session — yours to keep, print, and share.
We finish at a nearby Waterfront café where I buy the coffee and we review the session together — no rush, open-ended.

- We finish at a nearby café for coffee and a relaxed review of the session.
- Within 48 hours you will receive a WeTransfer link with my edited images from our walk.

Where exactly do we meet?
At the Clock Tower, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. I will send you a Google Maps pin via WhatsApp after you book. Uber drops off directly at the V&A Waterfront entrance — it is a straightforward journey from any hotel in Cape Town.
Do I need to be an experienced photographer?
Not at all. All levels are welcome, from complete beginners with a smartphone to experienced photographers with professional equipment. The walk is tailored entirely to you and what you want to get out of it.
What camera should I bring?
Whatever you have. Smartphone, DSLR, mirrorless, compact, all are welcome. The principles of composition, light, and seeing are the same regardless of the equipment in your hand.
How will I receive my edited images?
Via WeTransfer, a download link will be sent to your email within 48 hours of our walk. The link is valid for 3 days. Please download your images promptly. Images are for your personal use only.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Cape Town weather changes quickly. If conditions are genuinely unsuitable for photography, I will contact you via WhatsApp to reschedule at no additional cost. Light rain is usually workable; heavy rain or strong wind is not.
Can I choose a specific area other than the Waterfront?
The Classic Walk and Private Experience are based at the V&A Waterfront. For the Full Day Adventure, we can include multiple areas across Cape Town, discuss your preferences when booking and I will advise on the best combination.
Is transport included?
Transport to and from the meeting point is for your own arrangement. Uber is widely available across Cape Town and is the easiest option. For the Full Day Adventure, transport between locations is also for your own arrangement – I will guide your driver.
How do I pay?
Payment is handled securely by Airbnb Experiences at the time of booking. Airbnb accepts all major credit cards and payment methods. No cash is required on the day.
